Reporter Josh Gross, who has been covering MMA since 2000, used his Twitter account to analyze Dos Anjos' victory and the fight against the Irishman. “RDA (go to Rafael dos Anjos) is a great fighter. He just destroyed the Kevin Lee. You can’t help but think about that missed chance against McGregor and what could have happened”, he posted on the microblog.

McGregor, in turn, read the publication and didn't miss the opportunity to respond and provoke the Brazilian. “I don't think we'll ever know, because he backed away with a broken finger,” replied the Irishman.

Finally, it was Rafael's turn to retort at Conor, even attacking the brand of whiskey manufactured by his rival: “That broken foot is my work tool. Making fun of a fellow professional shows the type of person you are. Before you go to sleep, imagine what life would be like if that fight had happened, and I had made you swallow that foot. Enjoy your fortune by drinking that cheap brown water that you call whiskey without making fun of my bad luck at the time”, he concluded.
