The Brazilian returned to the UFC after a year away due to injuries and was surpassed by the American Ian Heinisch by unanimous decision of the judges at UFC Rochester, this Saturday (18), in New York (USA). The Brazilian started the fight with his guard up, taking care not to be surprised by his opponent. In the first minute, Shoe Face managed to take the fight to his comfort zone, which is the ground. Ian, however, managed to get up, but the Brazilian remained clinging to his opponent's back. When trying to get up, Antônio was hit by a knee and, before his opponent could take advantage, he looked for the American's legs to take the fight to the ground. The Brazilian Vincent Luque got a good victory over the American Derrik Krantz. After being surprised by his opponent at the beginning of the duel, the athlete managed to overcome the difficulties and defeat his opponent by knockout at the end of the round.

Derrick Krantz started the duel by attacking and landing good blows on the Brazilian's face, who absorbed the blow well. After being taken to the ground, the Brazilian almost suffered a submission, but managed to remain calm and get out of the uncomfortable position. After a few blows, Luque managed to land a good knee on Derrick's abdomen, which he felt and went to the ground. With the victory, Luque, 27 years old, had his fifth consecutive victory and is in 15th place in the welterweight rankings (under 77kg).
