Dennis Siver (photo) needed a second attempt to reach the category limit
Ultimate debuts in Swedish territory this Saturday (14), in the first edition of UFC on Fuel, but before the fights, the fighters underwent the official weigh-in for the event earlier this afternoon. And German Denis Siver, who will face Brazilian Diego Nunes, failed to weigh 66 kg. of the featherweight category.
Siver weighed 400 grams above the permitted limit – 66,2 kg. – and needed the additional two hours to reach the permitted weight.
The German featherweight was the only athlete with a problem at the weigh-in, the other fighters reached the limits of their categories without problems, including the Brazilians Thiago Silva, Paulo thiago and Diego Nunes.
