“Guys, tomorrow will be a show. I don't want to talk about how I think the fight will go, you'll have to go to Esplanada do Mineirão and find out. But I promise we'll put on a great show. Who wants to see a show there? That's what's going to happen!”, commented Santiago, elected Fighter of the Year in Brazil in 2018 and one of the great promises of world MMA in 2018 by the specialized English magazine “Fighter's Only”.

His opponent, former UFC fighter Lucas “Mineiro” praised the fact that he was returning to the city where he was born to become world champion with Brave.

“I'm very happy to be here in Belo Horizonte, literally fighting at home. My strategy is to look for victory at all times and give the fans a great fight”, said Martins.
