Former light heavyweight champion Vitor belfort was outraged by the refusal to Michael Bisping to his offer of a rematch and fired back at the Englishman, saying he should stop pretending he was tough and admit he was scared of facing him again. Through his social networks, the Brazilian showed all his dissatisfaction with the stance of the former owner of the middleweight belt, who harshly criticized the Phenomenon on his podcast.

Bisping went on to say that Vitor was a hypocrite and that he would use steroids in his last fight, as a suspension would make no difference to him, as he would be retired. Vitor didn't like the Englishman's justifications and criticized him.
” Shame on you, Bisping! The UFC just told me you turned down the fight. I understand that you are scared. The images above kind of explain it all... So stop pretending to be tough and admit you're scared. And I thought he was man enough to step into the octagon with me again, I was wrong... Unfortunately it looks like we won't be giving the fans the fight they want... Happy retirement, you must be very happy to leave the sport through the back door... If Becoming a legend really isn't for everyone..” said Belfort, in the caption of an image in which he knocks out Bisping.
The Brazilian is looking for a farewell fight from MMA after having his duel with Uriah Hall canceled due to the fact that the Jamaican fell ill during the weight cut. The expectation was that Vitor could face Bisping in the UFC London, which takes place on March 18th. In the first fight between the two, Belfort knocked out the Englishman with a high kick in the second round of the main duel of the UFC Sao Paulo, in January of 2013.
