On his official 'X' account, Valter, who watched the fight from a VIP box, gave Malhadinho some important advice. According to the bad boy, a member of the UFC's top 10 heavyweight division (up to 120,2 kg), his compatriot is in the wrong weight class and, therefore, is struggling in his recent fights. It's worth noting that the fighter from Bahia is going through a bad phase in his career, with three consecutive losses.
Furthermore, Malhadinho, competing as a light heavyweight (up to 93 kg) in the UFC, had impressed, winning all three of his fights by stoppage. Therefore, Valter has no doubt that, for his rival to end his bad streak, he needs to return to his roots, because in his former division, he has everything to be seen as one of the best fighters.
"Malhadinho was doing too well in boxing. If he goes to light heavyweight, he'll be back in the UFC in a year," wrote the bad boy.
