Conor McGregor disapproved of Max Holloway 's attitude during UFC 329. The Irishman faced the Hawaiian in the main event, held last Saturday (12), but suffered a knee injury in the first few seconds of the fight. Faced with the situation, Holloway approached the referee and asked for the fight to be stopped, something that displeased the former UFC champion.
In an interview with MAC Energy, McGregor stated that he was not the one who requested the fight be stopped and criticized Holloway's decision to ask the referee to end the contest. According to the Irishman, his opponent should have let the fight continue, since the confrontation had just begun.

“I’ll tell you one thing: I didn’t ask for the fight to be stopped. I didn’t ask for it to end. If I’m fighting you and you look for the referee and say, ‘Referee! Stop the fight!’, who stops the fight? Don’t stop! Finish this damn fight! You’re the one asking for the fight to be stopped. The fight had just started,” said Conor McGregor.
