“Conor is openly turning to Jesus. When he tries to resist the world, one of the steps is God asking, ‘How much do you really want this?’ And then, right at that moment, you get hurt. It would be so easy to go back to the bar, to let yourself be carried away by anger, by hostility… But from what I’ve seen of Conor so far, he continues to thank God. That tells me a lot about his character. That’s what God does,” said the former two-division UFC champion.

“He takes everything from you, but he can also humiliate you… He can do so many different things just to see if you’re really sincere when you say you love him. I’ve also lost family members, I’ve done things that made me feel humiliated. So, whenever things go wrong, I always thank God.”

“It’s like I was thinking, ‘When the whole world is laughing at you, can you still remain true to your faith?’ God has remained faithful so far… and continues to be faithful. Seeing that means a lot. I think Conor has already won.”

“He has the opportunity to change so many people’s lives in so many different ways. I think he’s a great example of how people can be so imperfect, yet still remain unique and special. I hope he doesn’t give up. I hope he continues to shine and draws even closer to God,” she concluded.
