Alex Poatan already has in mind when he intends to return to the Ultimate octagon. The Brazilian was in action at UFC Casa Branca , held last Saturday (14), and ended up being defeated by Ciryl Gane in a fight marked by controversies. Without time to lament the setback, the Pataxó is already planning a new appearance, possibly in September.

In an interview with MMA Junkie, the former champion revealed that he received a 60-day medical suspension and intends to serve the full period before resuming more intense training. The expectation is that, with the end of the suspension, he will have enough time to complete a full training camp and arrive well-prepared, pointing to September as an ideal date for his return.

“I received a 60-day suspension, right? I have to serve that first. But I think September would be a good time to come back. By then, the suspension will have ended, and I can complete a training camp and prepare properly. I think September is a good date,” said Alex Poatan.
