A supporter of Donald Trump, Hokit praised the president for the initiative of holding such a large-scale event in a location like the White House. He then proceeded to make provocative remarks aimed at Michelle Obama, wife of Barack Obama and former First Lady of the United States.

"Hey, a shout-out to Trump for having the guts to put this crap out there! And if I were to say anything, there's only one person more incredible than the Incredible Hook, and that's my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amidst various topics, Dana White was questioned about the heavyweight's (up to 120,2 kg) statements at the press conference after the event. Despite being a supporter of unlimited freedom of speech and a long-time Trump supporter, White did not seem happy with Hokit's speech.

“I understand that the Obamas are public figures, but I am completely against saying unpleasant and false things about people's families… Everyone knows my position on freedom of speech, but I detest this kind of nonsense,” summarized the Ultimate CEO.
