Apparently, the confrontation between Khamzat Shimaev e Sean Strickland The fight for the middleweight title (up to 83,9 kg) is set to ignite even before it begins. The Chechen is scheduled to face the American in the main event of UFC 328, in a duel full of provocations from both sides. Despite the expectation of settling the rivalry inside the octagon, 'The Wolf' admits that the confrontation could begin as early as fight week.
In an interview with the Beyond the Win channel, Chimaev reinforced his stance on provocations, highlighting that he usually responds with the same intensity, or even more aggressively, to any disrespect, while assuring that he also knows how to reciprocate respectful attitudes in the same measure.

In a video published on the UFC's official YouTube channel, Dan White was candid and admitted to being worried about what the fighters might do before, during, and after the highly anticipated fight. Dana's pessimistic view is understandable, given that the rivalry between Chimaev and Strickland is one of the biggest and most hostile in MMA today.
“Fun event and, obviously, the main fight is the fight everyone has been waiting for a long time. Strickland was incredible in his last performance. How much security do you think we'll need? (laughs),” said the UFC president.
