The situation of the Brazilian, once a promising heavyweight (up to 120,2 kg) fighter, became untenable after his latest defeat to Rizvan Kuniev at UFC Vegas 113, an event held last Saturday (7). The news is somewhat surprising, since Malhadinho revealed that he agreed to fight an unranked athlete in order to have his contract renewed with the UFC. In any case, the supposed new agreement did not prevent the world's largest MMA organization from releasing the athlete, who is experiencing the worst moment of his career.
