“I think the fact that I lost my debut fight brought me challenges that I can't refuse. And then there was the contract renewal issue, and the UFC gave me a last-minute fight to move up a weight class, and I had to accept that too. So, I think one thing led to another, right? Every moment I went through was very difficult, experiencing that difficult time and everything else. But I think that, in some way, all this difficulty, this psychological drama, gave me a lot of strength to be ready for any challenge and to know that I can do it, you know? Of course, sometimes the outcome of the fight isn't in our control, but if I get there and perform, that's in my control,” concluded the Fighting Nerds representative.
