Carlos Prates wasn't the only prominent member of the 'Fighting Nerds' academy who celebrated Maurício Ruffy's victory at UFC 325. Caio Borralho also went crazy with the end of the important fight valid for the lightweight division (up to 70,3 kg), held last Saturday (31), in Australia. In it, the athlete ignored Rafael Fiziev's striking quality, showed his high level in the sector and knocked him out in the second round.
A fan of fighting, the leader of the 'Fighting Nerds' quartet reacted to the show on a live stream hosted by comedian Nina Drama and, obviously, showed his despair. Cheering for Luffy, Borralho encouraged him even from afar and celebrated his knockout victory by uttering several swear words, such was his relief.

And the veteran's feelings are understandable, since after suffering a tough defeat to Benoit Saint Denis via submission, the athlete was harshly criticized by fans and MMA professionals, and his future in the UFC was questioned. With this reaction, the rumor that Ruffy was out of sync with 'Fighting Nerds' and had left the team because of training with Alexander Volkanovski in Australia was dispelled.
