Maurício Ruffy won't forget UFC 325 anytime soon. At the event held this Saturday (31), in Australia, the athlete recovered in the company by shining against Rafael Fiziev. As he impressed in the octagon, the member of the 'Fighting Nerds' academy won the 'Performance of the Night' bonus. In turn, despite the new defeat to Alexander Volkanovski, Diego Lopes also left richer from the show.

The organization announced the awards shortly after the show. Ruffy took home a check for $100 (approximately R$525 at the current exchange rate). The Brazilian displayed his striking skills and knocked out 'Ataman' in the second round of the important lightweight bout (up to 70,3 kg).

In the main event of UFC 325, Diego missed his second chance to win the featherweight title (up to 65,8 kg), but he and Volkanovski delivered the 'Fight of the Night' award. As a result, the fighters also received $100 from the company. During the 25-minute fight, the Australian was superior, but 'Franja' had some good moments, putting him at risk both in striking and on the ground.

Last but not least comes Quillan Salkilld. A lightweight sensation, the athlete lived up to expectations by submitting Jamie Mullarkey in the first round. Thus, like Ruffy, the Australian earned the 'Performance of the Night' bonus. It's worth noting that the promising fighter is undefeated in the company with four wins.

Other bonuses

Because they won via the fast route, Benoit Saint Denis, Billy Elekana, Cam Rowston, Jonathan Micallef, and Keiichiro Nakamura earned a bonus of US$25 (approximately R$131). In the event, the athletes defeated Dan Hooker, Junior Tafa, Cody Brundage, Oban Elliott, and Sebastian Szalay, respectively.
