Arnold Allen came to a conclusion that was, to say the least, unusual after being 'surfed' by Jean Silva at UFC 324, held last Saturday (24). The Briton faced the Brazilian in the fight that opened the preliminary card of the event and, despite the high technical level shown in the octagon, the moment that resonated most with fans was the image of 'Lord' climbing on his rival's back, a situation that ended up generating comments outside the cage.

After the confrontation, Allen used social media to mock the episode. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the fighter associated the gesture with a common practice among homosexuals.
"You know what? Surfing is gay too," wrote Arnold Allen.
You know what surfing is, gay too.

Jean Silva explains his motivation for 'surfing' on Arnold Allen.
In a post-fight press conference, Jean Silva clarified what motivated him to climb on top of Arnold Allen in the final moments of the fight. According to the Fighting Nerds athlete, the move that caught the public's attention is already part of his training routine and was not something improvised during the fight.
“It’s funny. I do that at the gym (the 'unusual move')... I really trained that position,” explained Jean Silva.
