Initially on the preliminary card, the fight gained even more prominence after the cancellation of the fight between Kayla harrison e Amanda nunesMoving up to the main card. With another fight on the horizon, Natália is already setting her sights on a title shot.
During the media day of UFC 324Natalia was asked about the champion and Valentina Shevchenko's recent style adaptation, which has focused more on takedowns and ground control. Without hesitation, the Brazilian showed confidence when projecting a possible encounter with the dominant champion.
“No. Valentina won’t beat me. I’m going to be the champion and defeat her, because I work every day in every possible area. I don’t know if it will be in striking or grappling, but I’m going to defeat her and I’m going to be the champion,” stated Natália.
