Shara Magomedov achieved a surprising result at 'Hype FC'. Last Tuesday (30), in Armenia, the Russian had a grappling match against Arman Tsarukyan And he resisted. Since there was no finish in the fight during its six-minute duration, the UFC professionals ended in a draw.

The outcome of the duel was unusual, because Shara is a striking specialist and rarely uses grappling in his fights. On the other hand, the Armenian is known precisely for his high level in grappling. Not surprisingly, Tsarukyan was considered the heavy favorite to win. However, despite his limitations in that area and having suffered some set pieces, the Russian defended well and survived a powerful slam from his opponent.

It's quite true that Tsarukyan was superior in action. The Armenian dominated Shara and executed takedowns, but couldn't achieve what mattered, which was the submission, and seemed disappointed.

Happy with the draw, the UFC middleweight (up to 83,9 kg) fighter took the opportunity to call out the top lightweight (up to 70,3 kg) fighter. This was because Tsarukyan had promised to buy an apartment in the Armenian capital for the Russian fighter if he had won the fight.
