In a bad phase of his career, Renato Moicano has definitely entered the radar of lightweight fighters (up to 70,3 kg). So much so that, last Saturday (13), Bobby Green returned to winning ways when competing at UFC Vegas 112 and, excited, innovated by launching a curious challenge to the Brazilian.
In the post-event press conference, the American proposed that the prize for a potential fight against Moicano be Bitcoin, a cryptocurrency that functions as a purely digital form of currency. Green's move makes sense, given that the Brazilian constantly advises his followers to buy the virtual item. Now, it remains to be seen if the veteran will accept the 'bad boy's' challenge.

Like, I saw those commercials, he’d appear and always say, ‘Bitcoin, bro, buy Bitcoin.’ I thought, ‘Maybe he wants to fight.’ The loser has to buy a Bitcoin for the other. Let’s fight for Bitcoin. I believe he’s the only person I would challenge and who would keep his word. The loser buys a Bitcoin. Let’s buy a Bitcoin or at least half a Bitcoin. If you don’t want to do the whole thing, we’ll do half, that’s fine with me,” said the athlete.

Despite two consecutive losses, 36-year-old Renato Moicano remains in the UFC's top 15 lightweight division, ranked tenth. Meanwhile, 39-year-old Bobby Green is outside the division's elite, but his two-fight losing streak ended with a victory over Lance Gibson Jr.
