Carlos Prates He found himself at the center of a controversy during his trip to Europe to conduct seminars. Last Thursday (11), the Brazilian was in Turkey and, while attending an event of 'Core FC', an MMA organization, he got involved in a commotion and almost came to blows.
And the reason for the commotion was unusual. The fighter from the 'Fighting Nerds' team disapproved of Mavlud Tifiyev's behavior in the cage and confronted him. In the fight, the Uzbek fighter won by disqualification after receiving an illegal kick from his opponent and informing the referee that he was unable to continue competing. Having witnessed the event firsthand, Prates judged that the athlete, tired and having won the previous rounds, took advantage of the rule to emerge victorious.

In footage released by the 'Crash MMA' profile, the UFC athlete, outside the cage, pointed at Tifiyev who immediately went towards him and tried to attack him. From there, the fighters, surrounded by security, began to argue from a distance. Upon leaving the altercation, the Brazilian shouted and uttered the following words to his new rival: 'Go f*** yourself! Wimp!'. Later, the striker explained the episode.
“The guy was winning the fight, he started to get tired, and then the other guy turned the fight on him. The other guy kind of threw an illegal kick, but it was to his chest, it didn't even hit his face. Then he gave up the fight, saying it was an illegal kick. I said, 'Hey, man? You can't give up.' The guy got mad at me, he wanted to fight me. One minute before he said we couldn't fight, but a minute later he wanted to fight me. Luckily, our security guard was a giant and wouldn't let me grab him,” said Prates, before adding.
“I was going to kill that wimp. Look at the size of that security guard. I was going to kill that wimp, that guy from Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, I don't know what the hell that is. You cowardly bastard! If you're watching this video, you're a cowardly bastard! When I find you, I'm going to beat you up, you shameless bastard! You're lucky the security guard was here, you know? Forget about that guy. Screw him, I don't even know who he is,” he concluded.

While in Türkiye to give seminars, Carlos Prates He made a VIP appearance at the CFC event, and almost ended up getting into action.
