Conor McGregor A lawsuit was dismissed. The lawsuit accused the former UFC featherweight (up to 65,7 kg) and lightweight (up to 70,3 kg) champion of allegedly sexually assaulting a woman in the bathroom of a Miami Heat game during the NBA Finals in 2023.

Police investigated the case, but no formal charges were filed against the Irishman, who always maintained his innocence. Throughout the proceedings, the UFC star's defense sought to prove his innocence.

“Following a thorough investigation at the time, the Public Prosecutor’s Office concluded that there was no case to pursue. Almost two years and at least three lawyers later, the plaintiff presents a new, false version of the facts. We are confident that this case will also be dismissed,” said McGregor’s lawyer, Barbara Llanes, after the lawsuit was initially filed in January.

Last Tuesday (2), a court document revealed that the accuser notified that the process was being “voluntarily dismissed with resolution of merit”, meaning that she will not be able to file the same complaint again in the future. The court accepted the dismissal and the case was closed last Wednesday (3).
