Maurício Ruffy is close to getting his career back on track after a turbulent period inside and outside the octagon. The Fighting Nerds fighter revealed, during an appearance on the 'PodPah' podcast, that he is in the final stages of negotiations for his return to the UFC, scheduled for the first week of February 2026, at an event planned in Australia. According to the athlete himself, only the signing of the contract is missing to make the fight official.
“I’m in the final negotiations. I just need to sign the fight. But I’ll be fighting in the first week of February, in Australia. It’s a very good fight,” Ruffy stated on the podcast.
