Dana White is not one to mince words and stole the show at the UFC 321 press conference, held last Thursday (23), in Abu Dhabi (UAE). At the ceremony, the organization's president showed he wasn't messing around and those who suffered were Tom Aspinall , heavyweight champion (up to 120,2 kg), and Umar Nurmagomedov , Khabib's cousin and former bantamweight title challenger (up to 61,2 kg).
During the press conference, the Englishman, who will face Cyril Gane in the main event, sarcastically revealed that his strategy is to win by split decision, using jabs and taking the fight to the cage, taking a dig at his opponent's style and emphasizing that he can win his fights quickly or in so-called 'ugly fights'. In response, the journalist warned that if that happened, he and the audience would boo him. Dana promptly agreed with the professional and was blunt, saying: "Me too."

The Russian, considered the favorite by bookmakers against Mario Bautista at UFC 321, asked the UFC president that the winner of the fight be the next to fight for the bantamweight title. Following this, Dana White played coy and challenged Khabib's cousin to put on a show in the octagon to convince fans and the company's top brass that he deserves another shot at the division's title.
Friction with Aspinall?
This wasn't the first time Dana White had questioned Tom Aspinall 's stance . Previously, the Englishman had stated he would relinquish his heavyweight title if he had to face Ante Delija , his friend and training partner. Upon learning of the champion's idea, the UFC president disapproved and called the act "madness."
