Michael PQD was one of the highlights of the last episode of the ninth season of the reality show 'Contender Series'. Last Tuesday (14), in Las Vegas (USA), the Brazilian made short work of Victor Valenzuela, knocking him out in the second round and thus winning a contract with the UFC from Dana White. In fact, the company president was delighted with his new acquisition.
At the end of the program, Dana, impressed with Michael's performance , praised him. And rightly so, considering that the Brazilian punished his opponent before knocking him out, displaying power and technique in the striking exchanges. It's worth noting that the athlete was already considered by fans and professionals as one of the country's top prospects in the sport. Now, Dana has openly expressed his excitement about PQD's arrival in the UFC.
"You looked like a sharpshooter. I loved your story. You're literally at your peak, undefeated. I can't wait to see you fight in the UFC, my friend," said the organization's president.
PQD Fighters in MMA
Michael PQD, 27 years old, is a promising Brazilian fighter in the welterweight division (up to 77,1 kg). He began his MMA career in 2022, has fought nine times and won all of them, eight by knockout.
