In a bad phase in his career, Ricardo Carcacinha suffered another defeat in the UFC. At the event held this Saturday (11), in Rio de Janeiro, the Brazilian was no match for Kaan Ofli in the featherweight division (up to 65,8 kg), losing by submission in the first round. With another negative result, the athlete runs a serious risk of being cut from the organization.
This was Carcacinha's second consecutive loss in the UFC and his fourth in his last five fights in the Octagon. The Brazilian impressed in his early days with the company, but now he's become easy prey for his opponents. So much so that Ofli won his first fight in the company in his third appearance.

Ofli booed
While celebrating his victory and in his speech, Ofli asked the crowd for silence. As expected, the Brazilian fans were unforgiving and booed him until he left the octagon.
Carcacinha cannot resist the pressure from the opponent
Carcacinha started the fight with a clean jab to his opponent's face. The athletes then exchanged kicks. Ofli quickly took the Brazilian down, who then went for a leg lock. After defending himself, the Australian attempted the rear-naked choke. Calmly, Ofli continued to stand over Carcacinha and, from behind, finished him with a rear-naked choke.
