Even in the final part of preparation to face Magomed Ankalaev in the light heavyweight title rematch, Alex Poatan 's presence in the main event of UFC 320 is being viewed with some apprehension by some fighters. Jiri Prochazka , who will face Khalil Rountree Jr. moments before the Brazilian steps into the octagon, admitted this Friday (26) that he had made a special plan in case the Paulista leaves the card.

According to Prochazka, the training was split so that he was able to prepare for both a fight against Rountree and Ankalaev.
"After further discussion with my manager, I'd say it's [a preparation] for two people. It's for Rountree and, most likely, for Ankalaev as well. If Ankalaev were to withdraw, I don't know if it would be a title fight with Pereira, or if it would even happen. I don't think so; it's very unlikely. So the preparation is for Rountree and possibly Ankalaev," the former champion stated in an interview on his YouTube channel.

Former division champion Jiri Prochazka has defeated almost every opponent he has faced in the UFC. However, Poatan was undoubtedly the Czech fighter's main obstacle in the world's largest MMA organization. The two shared the octagon twice with the belt on the line, and on both occasions the Brazilian emerged victorious with spectacular knockouts.
