Away from the octagons for more than four years, Conor McGregor has spoken on several occasions about his return to competition. More recently, after the UFC's announcement at the White House, the Irishman again expressed his interest in competing Michael chandlerHowever, it may not be that easy for Dana White and the UFC brass to bring back the Notorious One on what could be one of the most important nights in the history of the sport.

By far the highest-paid athlete in MMA history, the Irishman stated in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that in addition to a multi-million dollar purse, he also wants to facilitate the entry of more than 100 people connected to him into the US.
"$100 million to fight at the White House, along with 100 US golden visas for myself, my family, and friends. I'm looking forward to entertaining the fight world once again. A pleasure I never take for granted!" said the fighter, who has previously spoken of his desire to become president of Ireland.
