Diego Lopes is an underdog against Jean Silva at Noche UFC; see the odds

Diego Lopes and Jean Silva finally faced off in the main event of Noche UFC, scheduled for this Saturday (12). For the third consecutive year, the UFC celebrates Mexico's Independence Day with a special card in honor of the country and, representing the Mexican flag, 'El Brabo' is the underdog against the representative of Fighting Nerds.

After a meteoric rise with five UFC wins, Diego Lopes was defeated in a title fight against Alexander Volkanovski in April. Now, the Brazilian, who represents Mexico, returns to the octagon looking to remain among the elite of the division. To do so, he will have to stop the rise of the last undefeated member of Fighting Nerds, Jean Silva, who has five knockout victories in five fights in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Diego Lopes enters the match with odds of 3,00, meaning a victory returns triple the value for every real wagered. On the other side, Jean Silva has an advantage, with odds of 1,39.

While Jean Silva is a heavy favorite in the main event, bettors' confidence decreases considerably with the other Brazilian fighters on the card. Amanda Lemos, who faces Tatiana Suarez in the preliminary show, has odds of 4,50 against her rival's 1,21, while flyweight (up to 56,7 kg) Alessandro Costa has odds of 4,30 and his opponent, Alden Coria, is the favorite at 1,22.

Also on the preliminary card, Netto BJJ is considered an underdog with odds of 2,02 against Claudio Puelles' 1,80, and Rodrigo Sezinando, who is in the TUF 33 final, has odds of 2,75.

Although most of the Brazilians on the card are on the underdog side, Diego Ferreira and Alice Pereira are favorites against their rivals. The veteran has a slight advantage with odds of 1,89 against Alexander Hernandez's odds of 1,92. the youngest fighter to be signed by the UFC She holds a lead of 1,65 against 2,26 for the home player, Montserrat Rendon.
