For the third consecutive year, the UFC will celebrate Mexican Independence Day with a special card honoring the country. In 2025, Night UFC takes place in San Antonio, Texas, in the United States, and has as its main fight a duel of extreme importance and rivalry in the featherweight (up to 65,7 kg), between the Brazilians Diego lopes, based in Mexico, and Jean Silva.

Outclassed in title fight against Alexander Volkanovsky, in April, Diego lopes returns to the octagon seeking to remain among the elite of the division. To do so, he will have to curb the rise of the Fighting Nerd Jean Silva, owner of five wins in six fights in the UFC.

Although it is an event designed for the public and for Mexican fighters, the Night UFC features a large number of Brazilians. In addition to the card's main characters, the following represent the colors green and yellow in the octagon: Carlos Diego Ferreira, Amanda lemos, Netto BJJ, Alexander Costa, Alice Pereira e Rodrigo Sezinando.
