While Alex Poatán prepares to try to recover the lost belt to Magomed Ankalayev in March, the admiration nurtured by deep MMA connoisseurs remains intact. The Brazilian recently said in an interview that he hasn't noticed a drop in the hype since his defeat in UFC 313. Joe Rogan seems to confirm this impression.

"(Alex) Pereira is a different guy, man. He's like a one-in-a-million guy. The power this guy has is one-in-a-million — it's insane," Joe Rogan said on his podcast, 'The Joe Rogan Experience'.
Poatan will face the current light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg) in a rematch scheduled for October 4th. UFC 320For Rogan, the former champion's physique could be a deciding factor.
"He's got a different physique. He's got an alien physique, man. He's like a true Amazonian warrior. Like, a true Amazonian warrior. His family comes from an Amazonian tribe. The power this guy has," Rogan said.

The show has around three million listeners per episode and covers a wide range of topics, from UFC, as Rogan is a fight commentator, to health and astronomy. It was purchased by Spotify for 100 million dollars.
