Bisping and Rockhold faced each other twice in the UFC. Luke won the first bout by submission, and the organization's current commentator prevailed in the second encounter with a first-round knockout. Surprisingly, Michael was not happy to see his former rival on the canvas.

"Darren till, a tremendous fighter, knocked out Luke Rockhold impressively. Luke Rockhold was knocked out very, very badly. I don't say this with a smile on my face. I'm not happy about it. I don't revel in the defeat of Luke Rockhold. I like Luke Rockhold and I wish him all the best. It was really sad to see that,” Bisping said in his channel from YouTube, reacting to Misfits Boxing 22.

Michael Bisping recalled that he predicted a result very close to what happened.

“I predicted this fight would end in three rounds. Darren's left hand is absolutely deadly. It's fast, powerful, and accurate. On the other hand, you have the Luke Rockhold, who is a tremendously skilled athlete. He could have been a surfer, a skateboarder. He was a mixed martial arts champion in the UFC and Strikeforce, but he can't tuck his chin. He has tremendous hand-eye coordination. Really. He's very coordinated with his body. He can surf, he can skateboard, he has excellent jiu-jitsu and some of the best kicks. However, in boxing, you can't use that coordination, and he still can't tuck his chin, and he was there all day for the Darren till.”, said Bisping.
