This Saturday morning was not at all pleasant for Michael Pereira. The Flying Paraense was a victim of a lightning knockout at the hands of the American Kyle Daukaus, still in the opening seconds of the fight. After landing good kicks to his opponent's waistline, the Brazilian was surprised by a powerful right cross as he attempted to land a jab. The blow landed squarely, and the fight was eventually stopped 43 seconds into the first round.
