The possibility of headlining a UFC card on the White House lawn seems to have reignited Conor McGregor 's competitive spirit . The Irishman, who hasn't fought in over four years, has returned to the anti-doping testing protocol and has been sharing training videos on social media, a positive sign according to Dana White.
In an interview with the program 'Pardon My Take,' the UFC president highlighted McGregor's commitment to returning to the Octagon, reinforcing his desire to fight in the White House. White stated that if the Irishman maintains his focus and physical preparation, this should be the main goal of his return, with the future being determined in the coming months.

"If you notice, he's been posting training videos, he's back in the pool (doping tests) now, he wants the fight at the White House. If he starts getting in shape and training, and stays focused, that's the fight he wants. He keeps telling me he wants this fight, so we'll see how things unfold in the next few months," said Dana White.

If McGregor does indeed return to compete at UFC White House , Michael Chandler already has a name in mind to share the octagon with him. In an interview with Ariel Helwani, Chandler expressed his desire to be part of the historic card and made it clear that the former champion would be his ideal opponent.
“That octagon on the White House lawn has my name on it… I’ve already spoken to the UFC about it… I would love to fight Conor. If you like to bet, I wouldn’t bet on that, but definitely bet the house on Chandler fighting on the White House card,” said Michael Chandler.
