With an eye on the top of the heavyweight category (up to 120,2 kg), Jailton Malhadinho recently declared feel ready to exploit possible gaps in the champion's game Tom aspinall. Still, in the Brazilian's opinion, the British fighter is the big favorite in the next fight for the category title, against Cyryl Gane, at UFC 321, on the 25th of October.
Escalated to face Alexander Volkov at the same event, in a duel that could define the next challenger to the title, Malhadinho questioned the priorities of Cyryl Gane and, consequently, the Frenchman's chances of surprising the current champion.

"I'm almost certain Aspinall will beat Gane. It seems like Gane has other priorities in life right now, and when you're fighting at this level, there can't be any other priority. If you're fighting at this level, for the UFC heavyweight crown, you have to go all out, and that doesn't seem to be the case with Gane right now. I think he accepted it because who wouldn't accept another title fight? But I think his priorities lie elsewhere," said the Bahia native.
Former interim champion Gane seeks the linear title after failures against Francis Ngannou e Jon Jones. Now Malhadinho, who faces Alexander Volkov No. UFC 321, believes he could be the ideal opponent to test Aspinall like never before.
“I'm a very strategic guy, we didn't see Tom aspinall "I'm on my back on the ground, I didn't see him getting pressure, and I'm a very explosive guy when I go for takedowns. It's going to be a grappling match I'll have with him, to see how he behaves on the ground, how he behaves from the second and third rounds onwards, and it's going to be a really cool fight. He's a black belt in jiu-jitsu, as am I. It's going to be a show that will be worth it for the audience," he concluded.
With Jailton Malhadinho, Alexander Volkov, Cyryl Gane e Tom aspinall in action, the UFC 321 It takes place on October 25th at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
