Patrício Pitbull debuts in the featherweight rankings after victory at UFC 318; see the top 15

Greatest fighter in Bellator history, Patrick Pitbull finally had his name included in the official UFC rankings. After recovering from the defeat suffered in his debut in the organization with a victory over Dan Ige, at UFC 318, an event held last Saturday (19), the athlete from Rio Grande do Norte appeared in the top 15 of the featherweight category (up to 65,7 kg) in an update promoted by the organization this Tuesday (22).

With the victory over Dan Ige, Patrick Pitbull assumed 11th place in the featherweight rankings, which belonged to his rival. The Hawaiian, in turn, dropped three positions and is now 14th. Other fighters indirectly affected by Pitbull's entry were Steve Garcia e Giga Chikadze, which lost one position each, falling to 12th and 15th, respectively. Calvin kattar e Bryce mitchell, which were previously tied for 15th place, are no longer on the list.

The UFC featherweight division has as champion Alexander Volkanovsky, who regained the title with a victory over the Brazilian Diego lopes No. UFC 314, in April of this year, after Ilia Topuria leave the belt vacant to move up to lightweight (up to 70,3 kg).
