Conor McGregor became the target of controversy again on Monday morning (14), after American rapper Azealia Banks published alleged private messages sent by the fighter. In the images, shared by the artist on her official X profile (former Twitter), the former UFC champion would have sent explicit intimate photos unsolicited, in addition to verbal threats.
The accusation was made by Azealia Banks, who shared screenshots of conversations with McGregor. According to the rapper, the former UFC champion sent her unsolicited intimate images and even threatened her not to disclose the incident. The rapper questioned the act and McGregor's political intentions, as he has previously expressed interest in a public career in Ireland.

“How are you going to send some pictures of a crooked dick to a bitch and then threaten her not to tell? Do you know who I am? That's forbidden. You're going to sexually harass me with a potato farmer's penis and then threaten me not to tell? You're not trying to be the president of Ireland, what's going on? Wear sunscreen, bitch,” the rapper wrote.
Until now, Conor McGregor has not publicly commented on the accusations. The controversy comes amid an already turbulent time in the former champion's personal life, as he recently faced rumors of cheating on his fiancée, Dee Devlin.
McGregor, who has not fought since July 2021, when he suffered a serious leg injury during his fight against Dustin poirier, has been postponing successive returns to the octagon. His name was even linked to a possible confrontation with Michael chandler still in 2024, but so far there is no official confirmation of the fight.

Conor McGregor, sexual harassment and assault
This isn't the first time the Irishman has been involved in such allegations. In 2023, he was investigated for sexual assault during the NBA Finals, but the case was not pursued legally after the alleged victim dropped the accusation.
In November 2024, an Irish civil court found him responsible for assaulting and raping a woman in a Dublin hotel in 2018, ordering him to pay €248 in damages.
