It's time! Charles of the Bronx e Ilia Topuria compete for the lightweight belt (up to 70,3 kg) left vacant by Islam makhachev in the main event of UFC 317, this Saturday (28), at the T-Mobile Arena, in Las Vegas (USA). The ceremony ends the organization's 'International Fight Week' with the title fight, in addition to Alexandre pantoja defending his flyweight title (up to 56,7 kg) against Kai Kara France in the co-main event. Brazil has seven representatives on the card.

In an attempt to regain his place at the top of the world, Charles has to overcome Topuria, who gave up his featherweight belt (up to 65,7 kg) due to weight-cutting issues. A former champion, the Brazilian held the title in 2021 and 2022 and, almost three years later, he has the opportunity to become 'king' once again.

In the penultimate event of the night, Pantoja enters the octagon for his fourth defense of the flyweight title. The Rio native, leader of the division since July 2023, faces Kara-France, repeating a confrontation that took place in 2021 - when he emerged victorious by submission.

In addition to the two national protagonists, five other athletes from Brazil reinforce the card. Renato Moicano wants to return to the winning side against Beneil Dariush. Felipe Lima comes face to face with Payton Talbott in a duel of prospects on the main card.

The preliminary program also features three fighters who will take the green-yellow to the octagon: Gregory Robocop, Viviane Araujo e Jonathan Diniz. They face Jack hermansson, Tracy Cortez and Alvin Hines.
