Now that the UFC heavyweight division (up to 120,2kg) is finally developing, we'll see some big names in action. Except for Francis Ngannou.
The organization's boss, Dana White, has spoken out against hiring the former employee. After announcing Jon Jones ' retirement and Tom Aspinall 's rise to the undisputed title, the UFC CEO was asked about the rumored possible return of the Frenchman. White rejected the possibility.

“One thing I’ve learned over the years about Francis—Francis isn’t always serious when he speaks in public. What he says backstage is different from what he says in public. I’m not a big fan. I’d be shocked if Francis came back here on several different levels. I’m not a fan, and he doesn’t always tell the truth in public,” Dana White stated at the UFC Baku post-fight press conference.
After becoming UFC heavyweight champion and defending the title against Ciryl Gane , Ngannou did not fight for the organization again. The fighter and the company did not reach an agreement to renew the contract, and today the Frenchman fights under the PFL banner. Following Dana White's statements, Francis reacted ironically on social media.
