Tom aspinall is the new UFC linear heavyweight champion (up to 120,2 kg). The best-ranked Brazilian in the division wasted no time and has already made himself available to fight for the belt. Jailton Malhadinho spoke out asking for the fight. The British was elevated to the throne after the announcement of the retirement of Jon Jones made by Dana White this Saturday (21), after the UFC Baku.

Gane has beaten us before, he’s fought for the belt and lost twice, and his last win was a steal.”, he said. Jailton Malhadinho in a post made on 'X' (old Twitter). 

Malhadinho's post has an address. He directed the publication to Tom aspinall, Dana White and director Mick Maynard. The official profile of the fighter from Bahia also sent out several messages in response to posts related to his retirement. Tom aspinall se manifested on social media minutes after announcing his retirement. In publication short, the new linear champion promised an active reign in the category.
