In a recent dig, clearly aimed at the interim champion, Bones shared a video of a dog calmly fighting with a rather loud, defeated companion. In the caption, the fighter wrote, "How I feel about returning to the UFC after some much-needed downtime."

Jon Jones hasn't fought since November of last year, when he defended his title against Stipe Miocic. In the main fight UFC 309, 'Bones' knocked out his opponent at the end of the third round. Miocic retired at the time.
Yes, Tom aspinall has been without stepping into the octagon for the longest time. The last time he defended his interim belt was in July 2024, a year after winning the title, against Curtis blaydes. Won by knockout in the first round.
