One of the highlights of 'John Wick' is the choreography and martial arts moves performed by Reeves. However, watching one of these techniques on the big screen has bothered one UFC legend.

One of MMA's most talented coaches, Firas Zahabi, who trained former two-division UFC champion Georges St Pierre, accuses actor Keanu Reeves of stealing one of his techniques, which he says is called 'web guarding'. Zahabi posted a video on his YouTube channel trying to prove his theory.

“I was jumping upside down, grabbing guys and rolling them over. It was an amazing move, called the web guard. I used to call it the web guard. I used to attack people by punching and kicking them, and whenever they grabbed me, if they grabbed me with a hook, I would jump into the web guard. If I grabbed them with a hook, I could do that too, so it didn’t matter to me, that’s what I loved. As soon as we tied up, I could take the fight to the ground,” the coach explained. (see below)

Using the maxim that 'every joke has some truth in it' (or vice versa), Zahabi went further and said that he will ask Keanu Reeves for compensation for the use of the technique in 'John Wick'.

“I took that move out of circulation. But then a man named Keanu Reeves, the man actually dared to rob me. Now, I am used to white men robbing me, but if he is a fellow Lebanese, that is the problem. Now that I know he is a fellow Lebanese, I must insist on holding him accountable. When white men rob me, I am not so upset. I expected it! But a fellow Lebanese? That cannot go unpunished. He jumps the guardrail in the movie. In short, Keanu, you owe me a massari,” concluded Zahabi.
