Because a controversial name has been on Buffer's mind about entering the octagon: Logan Paul. For the 67-year-old announcer, the brother of the controversial Jake Paul e WWE Star has what it takes to compete in the UFC.

“He has a pedigree in wrestling. Not just in WWE, he has a pedigree in college wrestling, if I’m not mistaken. He’s a hell of an athlete. One thing about Logan is that he’s a supreme athlete. I think, and I’ve been asked this before, as has anybody else, that we’re talking about 40 weapons in MMA versus two weapons in the Marquess of Queensberry Rules of the incredible sport of boxing. He boxes, he wrestles. If he trains right for MMA, I think he can compete in the UFC. It’s a matter of who he’s going to fight,” Buffer revealed in an interview with 'TMZ'.

However, Buffer's desire to see Logan Paul in the UFC is likely to remain just a fantasy. This is because the organization's president, Dana White, does not have a good relationship with the WWE star. Paul has even shown that Dana ignored him when he sent a message asking if he could fight in the UFC. UFC 300.

But in an 'ideal scenario', if the opportunity really knocks on Logan Paul's door, Buffer advises him to seek high-level training to do well in the UFC octagon. The announcer even goes further and says that the fighter's move to Dana White's organization could burst the MMA bubble and bring more profit to the company.

“Logan, if you’re going to train with someone, train with the best, and I’m sure Logan could definitely afford to train with the best. Just seeing Logan step into the Octagon would bring a lot of attention to the sport from his fan base,” Buffer concluded.
