Even though he was defeated in his long-awaited debut in the UFC 314, Patricio pitbull demonstrates that he is willing to move forward to live up to the promise of success in the organization. With no time to waste, the Brazilian took advantage of the opportunity on social media to challenge Dan Ige and had his request granted by the veteran who emerged victorious in the last event.
“Let’s go, brother! International Fight Week,” Pitbull declared in an Instagram post.

Without hesitation, Ige responded positively to the challenge.
“See you soon, legend,” the fighter said.
Unlike Pitbull, Ige won his match in the UFC 314 and overcame Sean Woodson by knockout in the third round, successfully defending his position of 15th place in the featherweight rankings. Back on the winning track, the American showed that he is open to facing the Brazilian, who until now does not belong to the top 15 in the division.
An underdog at the bookmakers, Patricio suffered a tough defeat to Yair Rodriguez. Unable to deal with the strategy applied by his rival, the Brazilian was defeated by the unanimous decision of the judges, but avoided making excuses about any problem that may have hindered his performance in the octagon. The fighter wants to return to UFC 317, which is scheduled to take place on June 28, at the T-Mobile Arena, in Las Vegas (USA).
