The pre-fight tension between Bryce mitchell e Jean Silva No. UFC 314 reached a new level this Thursday (10), during the event's media day. After the Brazilian simulated barking and provoking his opponent in previous press conferences, the American responded with references to his life in the interior of the United States and possible times when he 'killed dogs' in his life.
“I’ve killed a lot of dogs in my time… you know what they all have in common? They scream before they die. They scream before they die. They came from the fields, they killed my animals, they tried to hurt me and my family, they were always barking. They all screamed before they died,” Mitchell said.

The climate for confrontation is hostile. Known for his eccentric style, Jean Silva imitated a dog during interviews and staring, and even carried a globe to ridicule conspiracy theories. Bryce mitchell, which include Holocaust denial and flat earth theories.
The feud began to grow after Mitchell defended Adolf Hitler on his podcast in January 2025, stating that the dictator 'was a good person' and questioning the veracity of the Holocaust. Jean Silva, in turn, publicly criticized the contradictions of his opponent, who calls himself a devout Christian but wears t-shirts with images of Jesus and weapons.
Jean Silva makes the crowd bark at #UFC314 - and Bryce mitchell responds with (yet another) dark provocation:
