Patrick Pitbull will finally act in one cage with only eight sides. The Bellator record holder's debut in the Ultimate will be this Saturday (12), at UFC 314. The featherweight (up to 65,7 kg) will face Yair Rodrigues on the main card. And the Brazilian has many aspirations in the world's largest MMA organization. Including being the best fighter from the old company. And to do that, he is willing to face an old promotional partner.

The UFC announced on Tuesday (8) the hiring of Aaron Pico, a promising featherweight. The competitor secured his release from the PFL and signed a deal to join the roster of Dana White's organization. Less than 24 hours later, during the half day, Pitbull expressed a desire to face him.

“I really want to do this fight… and we’re going to show who the best Bellator fighter is right now in the UFC,” Pitbull said at the press conference.

Patrick Pitbull not rules out a fight against Diego lopes for the UFC belt, if both win their next challenges. In an interview with the podcast 'It's Time', from SUPER FIGHTS, the potiguar also made himself available as an official reserve for the duel between his compatriot and Alexander Volkanovsky, in the main fight on Saturday (12).

“We always try to avoid confrontation between compatriots. If the Diego lopes arrive, win (Volkanovski) and I also win (Yair Rodriguez), they might envision a title fight. They haven't guaranteed me anything, I'm deducing from the way they put me on the card. The category is open. Maybe, if he wins, we'll face each other next time”, said the two-time champion.
