The announcement was made on Monday morning (31), with UFC president Dana White announcing Snyder for the task. The film promises a type of action never seen before in the director's cinema, focusing more on hand-to-hand combat and less on big anime-worthy fights. The plot of 'Brawler' will follow a young fighter from the violent streets of Los Angeles who gets a chance at the Ultimate, but first needs to win a more important battle, against his inner demons. The organization then becomes a path to redemption.
“Behind every great fighter is the story of how he got there. UFC is the world’s leading combat sports company, and I am honored to partner with them to tell this incredible story,” said Snyder.

“His Excellency Turki Alalshikh and Zack Snyder shared a vision for creating a UFC film. They were both passionate about this project to show fans what it takes to become a UFC champion. It’s an incredibly ambitious project and I look forward to seeing it come to life,” said the MMA mogul.
