With the eternal promise of the Englishman's collision with the champion Jon Jones for the unification of the titles often in vogue, the now UFC commentator made his analysis of this fight. He highlighted Aspinall's skills and compared him to his former rival.

"Listen, Jon Jones is great and you can't deny what he did in the octagon… However, everyone meets their match eventually. I think Tom aspinall he is the new generation, the new breed and he will probably be remembered as the greatest mixed martial artist we have ever had.”, he explained Michael Bisping ao Espaitec's 'Froch on Fighting'.

“Tom is the complete package, there’s a fighter called Georges St-Pierre, he’s one of the greatest to ever do it. Tom is like a heavyweight St-Pierre. He has no weaknesses, absolute knockout power, super disciplined. Super agile on the feet, finishes everyone very quickly… I would be very surprised if (Jones vs. Aspinall) goes out of the first round,” Bisping said.
