Brazilian Gabriel Miranda couldn't withstand Jamall Emmers ' onslaught and was knocked out in the first round of their preliminary fight at UFC Mexico . But what should have been a cause for celebration and joy for the American's team immediately triggered a furious scene between two of their cornermen.

Emmers hit Gabriel with a hard knee, followed by a right to the jaw and knocked the fighter from Paraná to the canvas. 'Pretty Boy' followed up with two hard hammer punches to the face before the referee intervened. The knockout fired up the crowd in Mexico City.
The official UFC broadcast showed Emmers' striking coach, Chris Culley, and head coach, Jacob Behney, starting a fight. Right after Emmers scored his knockout, Culley yelled in Behney's face and pointed a finger at him. Behney responded by grabbing Culley's wrists to restrain him. (see video below)

With his second consecutive defeat, Gabriel Miranda suffers his third loss in four UFC fights and finds himself in a precarious situation within the organization. On the other hand, Jamall Emmers is recovering from his knockout loss against Nate Landwehr and continues to alternate between positive and negative results since his UFC debut in 2020.
