The 'Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship' is famous for producing quick and brutal knockouts. UFC star Conor McGregor always reacts quickly to better results in the bare-knuckle boxing organization he owns. That's what happened after Conor Cooke's knockout victory over Stevie Taylor at BKFC Manchester on Saturday night (29).

Cooke scored two early knockdowns before closing the show with a brutal knockout that left his opponent convulsing on the ground in a frightening scene that left fight fans genuinely worried.

While everyone reacted to one of the most brutal knockouts in BKFC history, McGregor remained silent until Sunday morning (30). When BKFC happily confirmed that Taylor was fine amidst the fans' concern, the Irishman re-shared the video showing the violent knockout to his 46,7 million followers on his Instagram account.

The clip included a caption that perfectly summed up everyone's thoughts on the knockout: 'F**king sh**.' (see below)

Conor McGregor hints at retirement

McGregor hasn't fought since breaking his leg in UFC 264, during his trilogy with Dustin poirier, in July 2021. A return duel against Michael chandler was supposed to take place at the UFC last June, but the former double champion suffered a toe injury during training and opted to withdraw from the main event of the UFC 303.

Almost a year later, fans are still waiting for an update on McGregor's proposed return to fighting. But unfortunately, it seems he is closer to ending his career than reaching an agreement with the UFC. McGregor admitted his retirement by turning down an offer to fight amid political ambitions earlier this week.

“I have two fights on my contract, I’m in negotiations. Last week, something happened to me. I went to the White House, and my heart is bleeding for my country right now. So, there’s a lot going on at home, I’m happy with what I’ve done. There’s something more for me that’s in my gut right now, and that’s where I’m going,” the Irishman told reporters.
