Present in Monaco to attend non-fight events, Alex Poatan captured a moment dancing alongside Johnny Walker and Jully Pocca during the event. Keeping an eye on his rival's schedule, Magomed Ankalaev didn't waste any time and took the opportunity to send a message to the former light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg).

“Keep dancing. I’ll keep training and I’ll keep winning. I’ve already beaten both of these guys, but I think Johnny is still sleeping a little. But they’re good guys,” Ankalaev said on his official X account.

In response, internet users reacted by mixing taunts and praise for the new champion of the category. While some agreed with the Russian's stance, others mocked the situation, asking Ali Abdelaziz (the athlete's manager) to stop pretending to be Ankalaev to needle Alex Poatan , as he frequently does.

In his quest for his first title defense, Ankalaev makes no secret of his desire for an immediate rematch against Poatan. In addition to suggesting a fight in August, the fighter argued after UFC London that the Brazilian cannot be overtaken by rising star Carlos Ulberg in the title race.

Despite all the provocation he received, Poatan has not responded to his rival so far, despite being active on social media.
